The MONEYVAL Annual Report has been approved by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

On June 3 this year, the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe has approved the Annual Report of the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL) for 2020.

This Report reflects the MONEYVAL activities in the context of the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), focusing on the use of new methods of work, new risks and challenges associated with the pandemic, the European view on new threats and vulnerabilities which stands to crime related to COVID-19, and the impact on money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
