Filip Pronin joined the FATF Plenary meeting in Paris

“I am currently at the FATF Plenary meeting, an organization that does a lot to combat shadow schemes. We continue to work on strengthening partnerships with our international colleagues. We will continue to clean up the financial flows in Ukraine” Filip Pronin noted. 

The SFMS participation in the FATF meetings is critically important for ensuring compliance of the national financial monitoring system with international standards and best practices. 

“Our cooperation focuses on the exchange of experience, joint investigations, and combating money laundering. I would like to thank our colleagues for their help! The financial security of our country is important, and we will continue to do everything to strengthen Ukraine” Filip Pronin emphasized. 

Meanwhile in Kyiv apparently at the behest of one of Ukraine’s richest people, some MPs of Ukraine are trying to block the work of the SFMS. 

“I appeal to these people and ask them not to disrupt the work of the state institution and to direct their energy to more useful things, especially when our state is currently fighting for its survival. We need to fight for Ukrainian interests, not for some oligarch” Filip Pronin added. 

The SFMS will continue to perform its work. Economic security and transparency are key factors in the national security and state stability.
