Statement by the FATF President on COVID-19

FATF published Statement by the FATF President on measures recommended to be taken by the relevant institutions in AML/CFT sphere with regard to COVID-19 pandemic.

The Statement is focused on the aspects as follows:

-         addressing covid-19-related financial crime risks by remaining vigilant;

-         digital onboarding and simplified due diligence;

-         delivery of aid through non-profit organisations;

-         ongoing outreach and advice.
