Dear Ukrainians!

I congratulate you on the most important and brightest holiday – the Independence Day of Ukraine!

Today we celebrate the independence of our state which is the most valuable heritage of generations.

This is a day when we can be proud of our country, its history and achievements. Our independence is the result of the courage, bravery and sacrifice of our heroes who defend the right to live in a free and sovereign Ukraine.

It is also a holiday of unity, when we together feel the strength of our people. We overcome challenges and difficulties together and build the future together.

The endeavours, efforts and sacrifices of previous generations of Ukrainians gave us the opportunity to live in a free, independent state.

Today we celebrate historical achievements and work on the development of modern, prosperous Ukraine as a full-fledged part of the European family.

Together, we express our humble gratitude to the soldiers who sacrifice their lives and health on the battlefield in the war against the Russian invaders, as well as to those people who are devotedly working for the benefit of our state for the sake of the future Victory.

Let this day be filled with joy, pride and hope for a better future. Together we will be able to make Ukraine even stronger and more prosperous.
