Filip Pronin: We are expanding interaction with various institutions in order to work with information that has not been processed before
The State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine is establishing cooperation with various institutions. This is necessary so that the experts of the SFMS can work with information that has not been analysed before.
Over the past week, a number of new agreements on cooperation have been signed with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine, the State Service of Maritime and Inland Water Transport and Shipping of Ukraine.
“Our main goal is to increase the efficiency of analysing information on financial transactions subject to financial monitoring and identifying relevant risks. This plays a key role in the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing and other economic crimes. We are working to ensure transparency and prevent illegal financial schemes,” Filip Pronin said.
