Concerning to the FATF Guidance on Counter Proliferation Financing
The State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine (SFMS) has been translated and published on its official website the FATF Guidance on Counter Proliferation Financing, which had been developed by the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).
This FATF Guidance sets out the recommendations for the implementation of the financial provisions of the UN Security Council Resolutions on Countering the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Following the results of the 5th round of mutual evaluation of Ukraine in AML/CFT sphere, MONEYVAL noted in particular the need to improve inter-agency cooperation in the area of counter proliferation financing.
In this regard, SFMS continues to take effective measures in the context of the implementation of international standards in the AML/CFT and proliferation financing fields.
