The international workshop: “National system of anti-legal restraint: modern challenges and development prospects” is taking place in Kharkiv

The joint international scientific and practical workshop: “National system of anti-legal restraint: modern challenges and development prospects”, organized by the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine under the auspices of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) is taking place during 28-29 May, 2019 in Kharkiv.

International experts, representatives of state authorities, as well as the scientific experts are taking part in the workshop.

The main goal of the workshop is to establish an effective dialogue on the high level with the relevant state authorities, to determine priority directions of the development and improvement of the AML/CFT system.

The mention workshop has a high relevance and scientific and practical significance for representatives of the state financial monitoring entities, as well as representatives of law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

The workshop discusses issues related to the exchange of information and interaction with EUROPOL, the experience of the German Financial Intelligence Unit in the investigation of ML/FT crimes. A special emphasis is made on the development prospects of the national financial monitoring system.

During the workshop, a special attention was paid to innovations in legislation, sectoral risks of reporting entities, information security, cyber security and financial crimes investigation, as well as typologies of beneficiary owners.
