The international conference «Supranational and national AML/CFT/CPF systems: challenges and prospects» is being held

From April 27 to 28, 2023, the international conference: «Supranational and national AML/CFT/CPF systems: challenges and prospects» organized by the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine is being held with the support of the project «Strengthening financial monitoring system preparedness to fight money laundering and financing of terrorism treats» within the framework of the Support Program of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) for Ukraine and in cooperation with the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI).

Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency, the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, the State Tax Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Supreme Court of Ukraine, law enforcement agencies, as well as representatives of professional organizations of the reporting entities, the public sector and scientists, in total more than 300 participants are taking part in the international conference.

This event is of high relevance and practical benefit for representatives of the public and private sectors involved in increasing the effectiveness of the functioning of the national AML/CFT/CPF system in Ukraine and contributes to strengthening cooperation with our international partners.

International AML experts, in particular, the MONEYVAL Chair, leading international experts, representatives of the UN, the OSCE and the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI) are also participating in the event.

This event is dedicated to discussing the specifics of the implementation of anti-legalization legislation, taking into account the results of the third round of the National AML/CFT/CPF Risk Assessment, modern challenges and the determination of strategic priorities for the further evolution of the response system to relevant threats, including under conditions of military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The international conference is being held in a hybrid format, which also involves the presence of participants in Zoom format.
