Representatives of the SFMS have taken part at the Launch of the Typology of Corruption Crimes in the Energy Sector in Ukraine

On December 23, 2021, representatives of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine have taken part at the presentation of the Report of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on Typology of Corruption Crimes in the Energy Sector in Ukraine. The event was organized within the framework of the OECD project “Supporting Energy Sector Reform in Ukraine”.

Representatives of the main anti-corruption law enforcement agencies of Ukraine were involved in the event, in particular, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes, etc.

During the event, the main corruption schemes in the energy sector, the peculiarities of work and interaction between law enforcement agencies in their detection and investigation were presented, as well as practical guidelines and additional solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of measures taken in this area were discussed.
