The SFMS insists on decisive steps by relevant key international institutions in response to Russia’s flagrant violations of fundamental principles and international law.

In addition to the previous letters, other appeals have been sent today to the FATF and EGMONT GROUP regarding the exclusion of the Russian Federation from these organizations and inclusion of Russia in the relevant FATF sanctions list.

These appeals resulted from the further escalation of the situation in Ukraine and the continued commission of terrorist acts by Russia and the use of weapons of mass destruction during the war against Ukraine.

In addition, a clear manifestation of Russia’s nuclear terrorism is the armed seizure of Europe’s largest Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which is 10 times more powerful than the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.
