The Academy of Financial Monitoring has won in the competition of educational innovations

 

The National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service has announced the results of the competition “Best Practices for Implementing Educational Innovations in the System of Professional Training of Civil Servants, Heads of Local State Administrations, Their First Deputies and Deputies, Local Government Officials and Members of Local Councils” in 2023.

In the nomination “Professional Development of Civil Servants, Heads of Local State Administrations, their First Deputies and Deputies, Local Government Officials and Deputies of Local Councils”, the first place was won by the State Institution of Postgraduate Education “Academy of Financial Monitoring”.

As part of the competition, the Academy presented an innovative pedagogical technology called “Quest’N’Tool”, which is used during training sessions. The essence of the innovation is to provide practical guidance in the process of professional development and demonstrate mechanisms for solving tasks that arise in the professional activities of the Academy’s students using modern methods and tools.

The Academy of Financial Monitoring is an educational institution that provides advanced training in the AML/CFT/CPF sphere for representatives of both the public and private sectors, working closely with public authorities on training specialists of the appropriate level.

Over its almost 20-year history, the Academy has trained more than 20,000 financial monitoring specialists in AML/CFT/CPF sphere.

The Academy’s students are compliant officers of reporting entities, employees involved in financial monitoring, as well as specialists of state authorities.

The educational process at the Academy is inextricably linked to practice, and it always involves employees of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, law enforcement and judicial authorities, compliant officers of reporting entities, representatives of public organizations, higher education and research institutions.
