The representatives of the SFMS of Ukraine took part in FATF Plenary meeting
22-27 June, 2014 in Paris, French Republic, delegation of the SFMS of Ukraine took part in FATF Plenary meeting and meetingsof Working Groups.
During the Plenary meeting were discussed the following issues:
- progress of jurisdictions that are under the ICRG monitoring procedures;
- made a decision on compliance with the geographical balance of FATF expanding membership by the following countries: Israel, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Nigeria;
- FATF membership policy (based on FATF resource and financial capacity).
Also,during the Plenary meetingMr. Roger Wilkins from Australia became the President of the FATF. He succeeded Mr. Vladimir Nechaev of the Russian Federation.
During the meetings the delegation of FIU of Ukraineheld a number of bilateral meetings and discussed current issues on international cooperation regarding the search and seize of assets of the former President of Ukraine,people close to him and associated persons.
