The international scientific and practical workshop “The practice of application of FATF Recommendations by the public sector and implementation of the National Risk Assessment results” takes place in the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine
On May 22-23, 2018, the international scientific and practical workshop “The practice of application of FATF Recommendations by the public sector and implementation of the National Risk Assessment results” takes place in the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine with the participation of Polish Ministry of Finance representatives supported by the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine. The workshop takes place in the framework of annual events on information exchange between the Financial Intelligence Units of Ukraine and Poland.
The workshop attendees are the representatives of the state, law enforcement and judicial authorities of Ukraine, as well as the professional organizations of reporting entities, educational and scientific institutions.
The special attention at the workshop is paid to the work principles of the MONEYVAL expert missions, as well as to the new concept of NRA methodology.
Moreover, the mentioned workshop discusses the issues related to practical aspects of application of 6 and 7 FATF Recommendations on targeted financial sanctions related to terrorism, its financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
