The State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine continues the international cooperation in terms of project GIZ “The Support of the state finance regulation and consulting reform in the sphere of state finance”
On the 26th of March 2015 the SFMS conducted a work meeting with the representatives of the German Federal Enterprise for International
Cooperation (GIZ), the Central Criminal Inspection of Braunschweig (Germany) and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine.
The aforecited meeting was held in the framework of GIZ project “The Support of the state finance regulation” which is being introduced in Ukraine.
During the work meeting the foreign experts were informed on the functioning of the national system on preventing and counteracting the legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime, financing terrorism, and financing proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine.
In addition, the question of providing technical assistance was discussed on the behalf of the GIZ concerning the exchange of international experience in introduction of mechanisms of implementation FATF international standards.
