The SFMS conducts a training workshop on: “Identifying, seizing and managing the proceeds of crime”

From March 19 – 21, 2018 the training workshop on:“Identifying, seizing and managing the proceeds of crime”is conducted in the SFMSunder the auspices of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative in Ukraine (EUACI).
The expert in the field of asset recovery, Pedro Gómez Pereira from the Portuguese Republic, took part in the training workshop.
About 30 representatives of the National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA), the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the SFMS took part in the event.
The workshop addresses issues related to tracing of assets and the investigation of economic crimes, the application of information security standards, the information exchange and facts related to identifying, seizing and managing the proceeds of crime.
During the training workshop, special attention in relation to international standards on asset recovery and practical aspects of the application of legislation during identifying, seizing and managing the proceeds of crime was paid.
