The Parliament approved the first reading of the draft Law in the area of fight against money laundering and terrorist financing

On October 7, 2014 in the first reading of the Plenary meeting of the Parliament of Ukraine was adopted the draft Law of Ukraine "On prevention and counteraction to legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and financing of terrorism and the financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction" (registration No. 5067).
The draft is supported under the Government"s anti-corruption initiatives - essential for our country"s set of laws that will ensure an effective fight against corruption.
Approval of the draft Law confirms the European choice of our state and unconditional implementation by Ukraine of its commitments in implementing of FATF Standards.
