The Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine Igor Cherkaskyi conducted a working meeting with the Ambassador of the OSCE in Ukraine Vaidotas Verba

On December15, 2016 the Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine Igor Cherkaskyi conducted a working meeting with the Ambassador of the OSCE Vaidotas Verba.
During the meeting, Igor Cherkaskyi expressed a gratitude to the OSCE for the support of the SFMS’s initiatives, in particular concerning organization and conduction of the National risks assessment on money laundering and financing of terrorism in Ukraine.
A special attention was paid to discussion of further effective cooperation between the SFMS and the OSCE in the way of building up effective financial monitoring system.
The SFMS and the OSCE will continue cooperation for an effective implementation in Ukraine of efficient mechanisms for counteraction to laundering of «dirty» money and financing of terrorism.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) is a regional organization that combines 56 countries located in North America, Europe and Central Asia. In January 1995, it acquired the status of an international organization. Ukraine is a party to the OSCE from January 30, 1992. Today the OSCE is a transatlantic security structure, a full member of which is Ukraine.
