The Head of the SFMS of Ukraine met with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine

In the building ofthe State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine the Head of the SFMS of Ukraine Igor Cherkaskyi met with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Vaidotas Verba.
During the meeting parties noted the results of fruitful bilateral cooperation between the SFMS of Ukraine and the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine regarding the project activity "Strengthening the capacity of the Financial Monitoring of Ukraine".
In addition, during the meeting parties considered and approved the long-term strategy of cooperation of FIU and the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine in the field of AML /CTF in 2015-2017 years.
The main purpose of developing the above strategy is to consolidate the Parties efforts aimed at developing of the national anti-money laundering and terrorist financing system.

Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) - is a regional organization that brings together 56 countries located in North America, Europe and Central Asia. In January 1995, it acquired the status of an international organization. Ukraine is a party to the OSCE from January 30, 1992. Nowadays  the OSCE – is a transatlantic security structure, which is a full member of Ukraine.
