Representatives of the SFMS of Ukraine are participating in 45 MONEYVAL Plenary Meeting

Between 15 and 19 September, in Strasbourg, France, the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine is participating in the 45 MONEYVAL Plenary Meeting.
During the 45 MONEYVAL Plenary Meeting representatives of the SFMS of Ukraine will consider the following issues: Regulation of the MONEYVAL, calendar for 5th round of mutual evaluations of MONEYVAL in 2015, Annual Report of MONEYVAL, measures taken by Member States since the adoption of MONEYVAL Public Statement concerning Bosnia and Herzegovina, the rules and pocedure of the program of voluntary taxation (VTC), voluntary taxation in Hungary and Malta, actions taken after the adoption of the report on the results of 4th round of avaluation of Georgia, Slovakia and San Marino, discussion of modernization of the European judicial practice concerning sanctions in accordance with UN Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) 1267 and 1373 and other issues.

Ukraine is a member of MONEYVAL since 1997. The purpose of the Committee is to build effective systems in countries to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. The Committee on mutual avaluations of all relevant international standards in the legal, financial and law enforcement sectors. MONEYVAL reports contain detailed recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of national regimes to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as the possibility of states to carry out international cooperation in these areas.
