On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the launch of the public service of Ukraine
On the eve of the Public Service Day of Ukraine, the Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine Igor Cherkaskyi congratulated all employees of the SFMS and participants of the national financial monitoring system with this professional day.
This day is celebrated annually in Ukraine on June 23 – on the United Nations Public Service Day.
As it is known, on June 23 this year, Ukraine also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the public service in Ukraine.
At this particular time, exactly a century ago, a range of system laws was introduced in Ukraine, which for the first time consolidated the basis of the civil service institute in Ukrainian history at the legal level.
Hence, one of the main mechanisms was laid down, which became an integral part of the entry into the civil service – making oath “I promise to faithfully serve the Ukrainian state, to recognize the state power, to comply with its laws and protect with all the forces interests and welfare".
Taking into account the high recognition of the activities of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine in strengthening Ukrainian statehood, according to the Decree of the President of Ukraine as of June 21, 2018, No. 175, the First Deputy Head of the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine Igor Gaievskyi was awarded the honorary title “Honored Lawyer of Ukraine” for a significant personal contribution to state building, ensuring the implementation of state policy in the area of civil service, faithful and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people and on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the public service of Ukraine.
